The Boao Forum for Asia International Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation 2025 was successfully held in Hong Kong from June 6th to 7th. When it comes to the breakthrough of super projects such as the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge and the Huangmao Sea Cross-sea Project, Yu Jiangmiao emphasized the integrated innovation of the three regions. He indicated that the breakthroughs in the construction of super projects are mainly reflected in multiple aspects such as design concepts and levels, the research and application of high-performance materials, and the improvement of construction techniques and control levels, enabling them to have greater toughness, longer service life and higher quality in various extreme climate environments. In the field of engineering construction, teams from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao have relatively mature communication mechanisms and industrial interactions. They can cooperate in standard construction and the application of innovative technologies to create a higher and more complete standard system, jointly promoting technological progress and innovation, and facilitating the coordinated development of smart transportation and infrastructure.
